​Lavinia Neagoe - Photographer

     Born in Craiova in 1980, Lavinia Neagoe spent her early life with her family. Being the only girl in a big family she learned much about mathematics and science growing up with her cousins and other family members. Lavinia first fell in love with the arts when she traveled to Wienn, in 1998. Then she went to S.N.S.P.A college where she had her first exam of photography. She also began developing a passion for music when she start working for an english event company.

    As the years passed Lavinia became increasingly concerned with the issues around her and what was happening in the world. By the time she was 21 she began to work with different NGO's in Romania, trying to make a difference.

     Never completly comfortable with only one job she started travelling the world and making pictures of almost everything she saw.
